Located in the mountains of Western Maine in the Bethel/Bryant Pond area, this home is the perfect vacation for four season getaway. The house is located on Lake Christopher, a spring fed, crystal clean lake. It has a large dock and the water frontage is deep enough to allow diving from the end of the dock. The fishing on the lake is superb and the lake is quiet enough to enjoy water skiing or kayaking at any time of the day. The evening sunsets are breathtaking.

The house comfortably sleeps 10 people. It has 2 bedrooms with queen beds, one bedroom with a trundle bed, one bedroom with a bunk bed, a separate bunk bed niche(very cool) and a loft area. There are 3 ½ baths. We have 200 feet of water frontage with a large dock. Two kayaks and a row boat are included with the rental. The house is fully furnished with an indoor ping pong table, 2 TV’s, a DVD player and X-box. There is a charcoal grill, lobster pot and all other kitchen amenities.

Western Maine has hundreds of clear lakes and majestic mountains. We are 5 miles from the historic town of Bethel, Maine. Bethel has a variety of great restaurants and fun shopping to explore. There are two golf courses close by, The Bethel Inn’s 18 hole course, and the new Trent Jones designed Sunday River Golf Course.

Hiking is abundant, from a great trail up the mountain right across the lake, to all the trails at Evans Notch and Grafton State Park. Frenchman’s hole is also an exhilarating destination – jump from 20ft granite rock formations into a crystal clean deep swimming hole.


The Bethel area offers skiing and snowboarding and has been named "the greatest ski town in the Universe" by Ski magazine. We are just 12 miles from the Sunday River Ski Resort offering over 120 trails from 8 mountain peaks and 4 miles to Mt Abram.


Bethel Maine offers Nordic Skiing at its best. In Bethel Center, there is Bethel Inn's Nordic Ski and Snowshoe Center, or Carter's Cross Country Ski Center, conveniently located on Intervale Road. Each offers a variety of terrain from beginner to expert.

A snowmobiler's paradise awaits with hundreds of miles of groomed trails offering beautiful views of Grafton Notch State Park and the White Mountain National Forest. Local trails connect the surrounding area including our lake house.


In the summer take guided river fishing trips or just rent canoes, or in the winter, guided snowmobile trips and rentals can be found at Sun Valley Sports.

For other entertainment visit The Big Adventure Center offering world class laser tag, miniature golf, a water slide, rock wall climbing and much more.
